Statement of Christian Faith

As an evangelical Christian:

I believe that Jesus Christ is not only the son of God, but He IS God, was born of a virgin, was crucified as punishment for the sins of all mankind, was resurrected on the third day, ascended into Heaven, and will return in His time to rule and reign throughout eternity.

I believe that the only path to eternal salvation is through a personal belief that the blood of Jesus is payment IN FULL for the penalty of sin and an acceptance of him into your life as your personal Lord and Savior.

I believe in salvation by grace alone, and that salvation is immediate and eternal upon acceptance of Jesus as a one-time sacrifice for your sins, and that it cannot be obtained through any works, sacraments, traditions or merits of our own.

I believe in the Trinity: That God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit are three Persons in one God.

I believe that Christians, through the Great Commission outlined in God's Holy Word, the Bible, have an obligation to spread the Gospel to the world so that Christ's kingdom may be increased.

I believe that we are directed by Scripture to keep our marriages, our close friendships, our Christian fellowship, and our business partnerships and dealings among like-minded believers.
